INGERBELLE COMPOSTING FACILITY

The Ingerbelle Compost Facility is remotely located approximately 16 km from Princeton, BC. The facility processes organic matter, including residential and commercial food waste, garden and yard waste, and municipal biosolids. The fully engineered facility is designed to produce Class A Compost using an aerated bin system.
Producing Class A Compost from municipal/residential organics and water treatment residuals.
Capacity to accept up to 100,000 tonnes of permitted composting feedstocks per year.
Compost is used for various beneficial applications, including but not limited to general landscaping/horticulture use in municipalities, commercial farm operations and local landscaping/horticulture uses, as well as reclamation programs at industrial sites.
ECOWASTE INDUSTRIES LTD.

Processing 10,000 bulk tonnes of water treatment residuals annually to manufacture soils for use in landscaping and horticulture applications.

CINNAMON RIDGE COMPOSTING & YARD WASTE FACILITY
OPERATOR - KAMLOOPS, BC
Materials including grass clippings, leaves, fallen fruit, pumpkins, garden waste, Christmas trees and tree prunings from across the City of Kamloops’ yard-waste sites end up at the Cinnamon Ridge facility. After composting for 8-12 months via open-air windrow, the end product, Class A Compost, is used by the City of Kamloops for various projects and is also available for purchase by the public.
Beginning in August of 2023, the City of Kamloops implemented the Curbside Residential Organic Waste Collection program. Following pick up, the organic waste is delivered to an alternative site where NutriGrow Contamination Control staff ensure the organics are clean. From here, the product is transported to the Cinnamon Ridge facility.
